CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
1. To issue exit permits to all maritime, ships and vessel for departure as well as for other units for movement within Dubai or final departure.
2. To prepare exit permits for all goods including returned goods after inspection procedures in a timely and organized manner.
3. To prepare monthly and annual statistics and reports on work progress for management review.
4. To weigh empty and loaded vehicles and determine weight of goods for safety procedures.
5. To collect Port Charges (PRC) for
container handling, break bulk, general cargo as per port tariff and issuance of Invoices to Credit Customers in an accurate and timely manner.
6. To verify and prepare all transaction slips for MT, EXPORT, FCL/CCT in Port movement for identification and documentation ensuring payments of fees.
7. To issue Gate passes for Free zone cargo for local and export delivery and collect PRC where applicable for smooth running of Customer Service function.
8. To attend to customers’ needs, queries by providing assistance to resolving issues/disputes in person or on the telephone.
