Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily transactions related to customer invoices, receipts, collections, and aging reports.
- Monitor and reconcile supplier accounts, process vendor invoices, and handle timely payments.
- Prepare and maintain AR/AP ledgers and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place.
- Handle the preparation and submission of VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date VAT records and support internal or external audits.
- Process monthly payroll, including salary transfers, end-of-service calculations, and leave salary as per UAE labor law.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll-related matters.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, cash flow analysis, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary financial documents and records.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, specifically within the real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations, real estate transaction flows, and payroll practices.
- Familiarity with RERA regulations is a plus.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
- High accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English/Chinese .
