Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Accounts Assistant. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure as part of the daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
Skills
- Work experience as an Accounts Assistant
- Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks, Gateway etc.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Graduation in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
