Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Air Flight Operations with a strong background in private aviation and aircraft charter services. The ideal candidate will not only manage flight operations but will also have the network and capability to source private jet owners/operators for on-demand charter bookings. This role is vital to ensuring operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily flight operations including flight planning, crew coordination, aircraft dispatch, and ground support.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, ICAO, and local aviation regulations.
- Source and establish partnerships with private jet owners and operators to grow our charter aircraft availability.
- Proactively reach out to private jet owners with available aircraft for rent and maintain an up-to-date charter fleet database.
- Coordinate charter bookings, quotes, aircraft availability, and routing with clients and aircraft owners.
- Monitor flight schedules, weather and operational conditions affecting trip execution.
- Liaise with flight crews, maintenance, and FBOs to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle pre-flight planning and post-flight reviews and maintain detailed operational records.
- Support ad hoc and VIP charter requests, including last-minute trip planning and logistics.
- Work in coordination with the sales and client services team to match aircraft options with customer needs.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in flight operations, aircraft charter brokerage, or private aviation logistics.
- Proven experience working with or sourcing private jet operators or aircraft owners.
- Strong network in the private aviation and business jet industry.
- FAA Dispatcher License or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency in flight planning and operations software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and respond to last-minute trip requests.
