About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ambassador to join the Guest Relations team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Interact with guests, particularly Emirati and Arabic guests, and serve as a liaison for UAE and Arabic Royalty, VIPs, and Dignitaries, handling their complaints and ensuring their needs are met.
- Provide training and awareness of local culture, including Ramadan, Eid, National Day, and other Islamic occasions, to colleagues, and share the history and cuisine of the UAE with Western and non-Arabic guests.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, including all departments, services, and food and beverage outlets, and conduct site inspections for F&B venues and Arabic VIP delegations.
- Review daily VIP and reservations reports, liaise with departmental managers on the welcoming of high-profile VIPs, and ensure they receive the appropriate treatment and courtesies.
- Build and maintain rapport with high-profile VIP guests, track their preferences and special requests, and ensure VIP guest profiles are updated regularly to facilitate guest recognition.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Finance, Sales, Security, Front Office, Transportation, and housekeeping departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
