Position Purpose:
To manage and execute the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including day-to-day accounting, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and financial analysis, while supporting management in decision-making and ensuring statutory compliance in the UAE.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Accounting & Daily Operations
- Record and post journal entries (AP, AR, GL).
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and petty cash.
- Manage customer invoicing, collections, and follow-ups.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers.
2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
- Analyze variances vs. budget and provide insights.
- Support management with MIS, financial models, and feasibility studies.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets.
4. Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Coordinate with banks for transfers, LCs, guarantees, and facilities.
5. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and new Corporate Tax regulations.
- Prepare VAT and corporate tax returns with supporting schedules.
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit requirements.
6. Internal Controls & Policies
- Implement and monitor financial SOPs and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate financial records for management and statutory use.
7. Cross-Functional & Management Support
- Coordinate with HR, Procurement, and Operations for financial data.
- Provide financial insights for cost control and decision-making.
- Act as a single point of contact for finance matters when required.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, Odoo) preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and supervise junior staff if required.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
