About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director – Global Brand Communications and PR to join our team in Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated global communications and PR strategies aligned with Jumeirah’s business objectives, ensuring brand consistency and impact across markets.
- Drive performance and strategic direction of appointed communications agencies. Cultivate strong relationships with luxury, travel, and lifestyle media to ensure optimal brand positioning across key markets.
- Oversee the use of Launch Metrics and other analytics tools to track media coverage, influencer performance, competitor visibility, and campaign effectiveness; prepare monthly reports to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate ROI.
- Act as a key liaison between Global Brand Communications and property-level PR teams to ensure unified messaging, elevated storytelling, and consistent brand visibility across hotels, dining, and wellness destinations.
- Support the execution of the global influencer program to ensure strategic alignment and measurable impact. Identify opportunities to strengthen brand recognition through prestigious industry awards.
- Inspire and guide communications team members by fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Support crisis communications readiness and contribute to onboarding high-potential talent aligned with Jumeirah’s values.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Journalism, English Literature, Marketing or similar – Essential.
- Minimum of 8 years in brand communications and public relations, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position.
- Experience of working with luxury brands, preferably hotels or hospitality.
- Strong relationships with a broad range of media and a proven track record in delivering brand communications and pr programs that captivate the media.
- Experience of working both in-house and agency-side.
