About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director of Sales (Americas) to join our team in Jumeirah Global Office. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with travel agencies and luxury clientele, while managing a portfolio of key accounts, including MICE, corporate, and consortia accounts.
- Collaborate with hotel teams and Global Sales colleagues to discover and capitalize on new accounts and opportunities in North America.
- Initiate and lead key Familiarization (FAM) tours to our hotels worldwide to strengthen client relationships and enhance engagement.
- Stay informed on market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to effectively adapt sales strategies and initiatives.
- Manage and participate in roadshows, consortia events, and sales missions to promote the Jumeirah brand and network with potential clients.
- Maintain strong working relationships with all hotel properties to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Minimum three years of proven experience in account development, preferably within the hotel sales sector, showcasing creative thinking and strategic planning.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive, results-oriented approach to responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify opportunities for business development.
- Openness to travel as required for business needs.
