We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanic to join a leading company in Romania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety and top performance. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings
- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines during repairs
- Use computerized diagnostic tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors about vehicle issues and repair timelines
- Stay up to date with automotive technology and best practices
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive technical training or certification is a plus (e.g., ASE Certification)
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and mechanical components
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
