Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bakery Chef to lead our bakery operations. As the head of the baking team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production, developing recipes, managing inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of all baked goods. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with creativity, technical baking skills, and a strong sense of organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and specialty items
- Develop and test new recipes, seasonal items, and custom orders
- Train, supervise, and schedule baking staff
- Ensure consistency, taste, and presentation of all products
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and waste management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all prep and baking areas
- Enforce food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and special events
- Ensure production goals and deadlines are met efficiently
