General Summary or Job Objective:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for securing rebookings, attracting new sponsors and exhibitors, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams to drive revenue and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Secure rebookings and identify new exhibitors and sponsors across target markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders, ensuring high retention and satisfaction.
- Create customized proposals based on client needs and event objectives.
- Negotiate stand and sponsorship packages, close deals, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
- Collaborate closely with the project and operations team to ensure flawless execution of client deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate activity reports in the CRM system.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in event sales or B2B sales experience will also be considered.
- Experience dealing with government entities is a plus.
- Proficient in using CRM systems for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
