Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager at Modern Space, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. You will work closely with the project and design teams to align business goals with client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new projects in the fit-out sector.
Identify and pursue sales leads, actively pitch to potential clients, and secure business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, clients, and real estate firms.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and project developments across the UAE.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations.
Requirements:
- Sales Expertise: Skilled in selling carpentry and joinery solutions (kitchens, soft furnishings, wardrobes, vanities, etc.).
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5+ years of UAE sales experience in fit-out and renovation projects.
- Market Network: Strong client and real estate network in the UAE is a significant advantage.
- Performance Driven: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in fit-out/renovation projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the UAE fit-out and renovation market.
- Business Development: Strong capability in lead generation, client acquisition, and conversion.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to prepare and present quotations/BOQs accurately.
- Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with project and technical teams.
- Qualifications: UAE driving license preferred; civil engineering background is an added advantage.
