Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) to lead our ESG and sustainability transformation. The CSO will drive company-wide initiatives focused on environmental impact, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement to align with UAE Vision 2050 and global sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement ESG strategy aligned with international frameworks (GRI, TCFD, CDP) and regional mandates
- Oversee corporate sustainability reporting, compliance, and carbon disclosure
- Lead Scope 1–3 emissions tracking, Net Zero planning, and LEED/BREEAM certification efforts
- Guide integration of ESG principles across operations, supply chain, and corporate governance
- Represent the company in sustainability forums, investor discussions, and regulatory engagements
- Build and lead cross-functional teams focused on sustainability impact and innovation
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related field
- 12+ years of ESG/sustainability leadership experience, preferably in the GCC
- Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, carbon reporting, and environmental compliance
- Certifications such as LEED AP, ISO 14001, GRI preferred
- Proven ability to influence at board level and drive cross-functional change
Compensation:
AED 80,000–120,000/month + bonus + full benefits (relocation if applicable)
