Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our culinary team. Working under the guidance of senior chefs, you will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes in the hot/cold sections, following recipes and presentation standards.
- Mise en Place: Prepare and organize ingredients and workstations before service to ensure efficient operations.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma; a diploma or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment; strong organizational skills; ability to work under pressure.
- Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
