Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in the preparation and cooking of fresh, healthy dishes
- Support mise en place tasks such as chopping, marinating, blending, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Keep workstations clean and organized throughout service
- Properly store food items and ingredients according to guidelines
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries
- Participate in daily kitchen cleaning routines and deep cleaning schedules
- Follow instructions and training provided by senior chefs
Requirements
- A passion for healthy, nutritious food and a willingness to learn
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not required
- Basic knife skills and an understanding of food preparation techniques
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Culinary training or relevant qualifications are a plus but not essential
