Job description
Performing the appropriate mechanical maintenance works which includes monitoring, diagnosing, adjusting, installing, cleaning, calibrating, testing, dismantling, assembling, refurbishing, repairing, lubricating & overhauling of all factory related equipment & tools, as per OEM specifications, intervals & requirements.
Using the appropriate hand tools, hydraulic tools, pneumatic tools & power tools for the correct application to ensure quality workmanship & safety.
Execution of the approved Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules for all equipment.
Ensuring that equipment's are correctly used.Ensuring efficient, clear & prompt communication to colleagues.
Compete in heavy duty/ labour intensive tasks including lifting, climbing, carrying of parts / materials in order to complete the required maintenance works.Equipment maintenance check lists to be filled and documented.
Consider a practice of safety as the first priority on all performed tasks, including the use of the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment & methods.
