The Role
Savills is seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Director to lead our expanding Off Plan division.
This is a senior leadership role, responsible not only for driving the growth of our off-plan residential sales business across Dubai and, in time, the wider GCC, but also for managing, developing, and leading a high-performing sales team.
As the Director of Off Plan, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the division. You will be tasked with mentoring and empowering our team of brokers, creating a performance-led culture, and ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional results. A core focus of this role will be building, supporting, and scaling the team — recruiting top talent, setting clear objectives, delivering hands-on coaching, and creating a collaborative environment where individuals can thrive.
This is an opportunity to set the standard for best-in-class sales operations, while strengthening our relationships with key developers and overseeing the successful execution of transactions — including SPAs, payment schedules, and collections. The role will work closely with our International Sales team (largely Dubai-based), the Savills Global Network, and Private Office, leveraging high-value introductions and international reach to enhance our regional market share.
You will also collaborate with our in-house Residential Marketing team to deliver strategic campaigns that elevate the Savills brand and showcase our exclusive offerings. As a leader, you will represent the company with confidence, professionalism, and integrity — championing Savills’ global reputation for excellence in premium residential real estate.
Travel across the Middle East, and occasionally within our wider global business, may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the sale of prime off-plan residential inventory in Dubai and, in due course, the broader Middle East.
- Lead and build a high-performing off-plan brokerage team focused on the upper tier of the market.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and structured support to ensure the team is motivated, well-resourced, and consistently performing at a high level.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with premium developers, family offices, and boutique investment firms offering luxury residential product.
- Collaborate with the international Savills Private Office and global residential network to promote inventory to UHNW and HNW clients.
- Work closely with the in-house marketing team to develop tailored sales campaigns.
- Oversee all aspects of the off-plan transaction process, including contracts, SPA issuance, compliance, collections, and client experience.
- Act as a regional spokesperson for Savills in the prime off-plan space — including media, events, and VIP launches.
- Ensure compliance with UAE real estate regulations, as well as Savills’ internal policies related to AML, KYC, and data protection.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven track record of managing, building, and motivating successful sales teams in the Dubai market.
- Deep understanding of the off-plan sales cycle and high-value residential sales.
- Experience managing back-office and administrative functions that support a successful sales platform.
- Strong network of developers, UHNW clients, and key investment partners in the region.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai’s buyer demographics and the most effective strategies to engage diverse nationalities and cultures across the ME region.
- Ability to engage and leverage Savills’ global network of agents and offices.
- Awareness of the global residential marketplace and ability to position Dubai competitively within it.
- Commercially astute, with experience building and managing a profitable off-plan sales business.
- Skilled in collaborating with legal, marketing, and operations teams on contract execution, compliance, and client servicing.
- Excellent presentation and pitch delivery skills; confident in high-stakes negotiations.
- Tech-savvy, with knowledge of CRM platforms and digital lead-generation strategies.
- Confident communicator and brand ambassador, capable of representing Savills at the highest levels.
- Comprehensive understanding of real estate laws and regulations in Dubai and the wider UAE.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
