This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy, security, and accessibility of company documents and records. As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of corporate documentation—from creation and classification to storage and retrieval. You will ensure that documents are appropriately numbered, named, indexed, and filed according to company standards.
The role involves working closely with various departments, especially IT, operations, and HR, to ensure all documents meet internal compliance and quality standards. You will also track revisions, distribute documents to authorized personnel, and support audits by retrieving records on demand.
The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree and have at least 2–4 years of experience in document control, preferably in a corporate or IT environment. Familiarity with document control software and digital recordkeeping systems is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks effectively under minimal supervision.
