Job Description:
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Document Controller (MEP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and controlling project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely accessibility of documents related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the flow of MEP project documents, including intake, scanning, verification, storage, and distribution.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date electronic and physical filing system.
Ensure document versions are controlled, with the latest approved revisions clearly identified and distributed.
Coordinate document submissions and retrieval with project managers, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
Prepare and maintain document registers, logs, and reports.
Ensure compliance with company and regulatory procedures on document control.
Assist in document preparation for audits and inspections.
Secure sensitive and confidential documentation.
Design templates and maintain document databases.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience as a Document Controller, preferably in MEP projects.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of construction project documentation and compliance standards.
