Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all types of electrical works to ensure smooth operations, business continuity, and safety across the client’s facilities. This role involves collaborating with other departments, supporting events, and maintaining assets in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct all types of electrical works to maintain related assets within the client’s premises in an operational and safe manner, ensuring zero downtime.
- Assist other departments with their electrical requirements for various jobs, functions, and events to support seamless business operations.
- Support the line manager in preparing defect notifications, monitoring remedial works, and overseeing tasks performed by outside contractors to ensure the client’s assets remain in top condition.
- Implement duties in compliance with quality standards, security measures, and health & safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment free from business interruptions.
- Accurately report performed jobs, including man-hours and consumables, to better control labor costs and inventory items.
- Maintain professional conduct with customers and end-users, ensuring a positive representation of the Engineering department across all client premises.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service orientation.
Working Hours: 6 days a week, 9 hrs per day inclusive of a lunch break
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to AED5,500.00 per month
