We are currently hiring an ELV Systems Cost Estimator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating costs for (ELV) systems, preparing BOQ, and developing detailed cost proposals. Proficiency in AutoCAD, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills with project and procurement teams are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimates and BOQs for ELV, ICT, AV & Security systems, including:
CCTV System
Access Control System
Structured Cabling / Data Network
IP Telephony System
SMATV / IPTV
Intercom System
Audio/Visual Systems
PA/BGM System
Light Control Systems
Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS)
Master Clock and Gate Barrier Systems
Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
Utilize AutoCAD to review, interpret, and extract quantities from design/shop/as-built drawings.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to obtain accurate and competitive pricing.
Ensure estimates comply with UAE authority regulations (Etisalat, DU, TRA) and consultant standards.
Maintain organized records of costs, proposals, and estimation documentation.
Support tender submissions with precise and competitive pricing.
Stay updated with current market prices, materials, and ELV industry developments.
Requirements:
- Diploma or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ELV systems cost estimation.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of ELV systems and UAE authority compliance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and numerical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Immediate availability preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in estimating GRMS, AV, and Light Control Systems.
- Familiarity with IFC and tender drawings for fiber/copper cabling.
- Understanding of UAE-specific project pricing and regulations.
