Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion
- Review and approve technical submittals, including drawings, calculations, and material specifications
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and local regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Analyze survey data and engineering submittals to identify and resolve potential issues
- Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain project standards
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in project meetings and provide expert technical advice
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the professional development of the team
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction supervision and management
- Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Strong technical knowledge in civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Experience with CAD software and project management tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and international construction standards
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and practices in Dubai
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid engineering license or certification (if required in Dubai)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
