Job Title: Erection Fabrication Foreman
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years in UAE as foreman and GCC in steel structural fabrication
Job Description: We are looking highly skilled Structural Fabrication Foreman to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in overseeing and managing steel structural fabrication projects in the UAE and GCC region. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of fabricators, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fabrication team to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
- Monitor work progress, allocate resources effectively, and adjust schedules as needed to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure fabricated components meet specifications and standards.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor junior fabricators to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to address project requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain inventory of materials and equipment, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Report project status, including milestones, delays, and issues, to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in steel structural fabrication within the UAE and GCC region.
- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of safety and quality standards in fabrication processes.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field experience is preferred.
