Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an F&B Hostess in the vibrant city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates! We're looking for a friendly and professional individual to be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience from the moment they arrive.
- Greet and warmly welcome guests, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using our computerized system
- Guide guests to their tables and provide menus, ensuring their comfort
- Assist guests with menu information and special requests
- Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Support the F&B team in various tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in organizing and managing special events or promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Hostess in a reputable hotel or restaurant
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of F&B products and services
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Basic computer skills for managing reservations and seating arrangements
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent grooming and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Valid UAE work visa or ability to obtain one
