Job Purpose
The Finance cum Admin Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and administrative functions of the organization. This includes financial planning and reporting, budgeting, accounting, internal controls, administration, office management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure timely closing of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate budget preparation and monitor expenditures against budgets.
- Maintain internal control systems and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Handle payroll processing and statutory compliance (e.g., tax filings, social security, etc.).
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee office administration functions, including supplies, maintenance, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
- Coordinate travel and logistics arrangements for staff.
- Manage vendor contracts and office service agreements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to headquarters or management.
- Maintain proper documentation and archiving of financial and administrative records.
- Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations and administrative policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum3 years of experience in a similar finance and admin role.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good understanding of HR and administrative processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
