Your day to day
Safety & Security Operations
Supervise daily security operations, ensuring hotel premises are secure at all times.
Monitor CCTV, fire alarm, and emergency systems, and respond promptly to incidents.
Conduct regular patrols of guest areas, back-of-house, and critical locations.
Ensure proper access control and identification procedures for staff, contractors, and visitors.
Incident & Risk Management
Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical situations, or security threats.
Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities in a timely manner.
Assist in risk assessments and suggest preventive measures to minimize security hazards.
Team Supervision & Training
Supervise, schedule, and guide security officers in daily duties.
Conduct training sessions on emergency procedures, fire safety, and guest security.
Ensure all security personnel maintain professional grooming, conduct, and alertness.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, IHG standards, and UAE legal requirements.
Maintain accurate security logs, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
Liaise with local authorities when required for investigations or inspections.
Guest & Colleague Support
Provide courteous assistance to guests while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
Support other departments in crowd control during events and VIP guest movements.
Promote a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and employees.
What we need from you
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in hotel security, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Background in law enforcement, military, or security services is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of emergency response, fire safety, and security systems.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Russian is an advantage).
Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a multicultural team.
Physically fit, alert, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Certification in first aid, fire safety, or security training is preferred.
