Position Summary:
The Security Personnel is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property. This role involves monitoring security systems, patrolling premises, and responding to incidents promptly and professionally, in line with hotel policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Security Monitoring
- Patrol all hotel areas to detect and prevent suspicious activities.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, ensuring prompt response to alerts.
- Control access to restricted areas and verify the identity of personnel when necessary.
- Incident Response
- Respond quickly to emergencies, including medical situations, fire alarms, or disturbances.
- Provide assistance in evacuations and ensure adherence to emergency procedures.
- Document and report all security incidents, accidents, and irregularities.
- Guest & Staff Assistance
- Assist guests with directions, safety concerns, or lost items.
- Provide escort services for VIP guests or staff when required.
- Handle conflicts or disruptive behavior in a calm, professional manner.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities to the supervisor.
- Work closely with local authorities and emergency services when required.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and security checks.
- Compliance & Standards
- Follow hotel security protocols, including key control and ID verification.
- Comply with legal requirements and local regulations.
- Uphold confidentiality of guest and staff information at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in hotel or corporate security preferred.
- Valid security license or certification, as per local regulations.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Good communication skills; additional language skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Capacity to respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Must be physically fit to perform security duties, including lifting or restraining if necessary.
