We’re Hiring: General Manager – Lead the Future of Event Tech!
Join a leading event technology company that’s transforming live experiences—from immersive activations to interactive installations. We’re looking for a General Manager to oversee operations, drive growth, and lead our teams in delivering world-class events.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across departments including projects, client servicing, technical, and creative.
- Lead and mentor teams to ensure smooth and high-quality delivery of events.
- Handle budgets, forecasting, and profitability for projects and the business.
- Drive business development, client relationships, and partnerships.
- Oversee event planning, logistics, and post-event reporting.
- Work with tech teams to bring innovative event solutions (AR/VR, NFC, interactive displays, etc.).
- Track KPIs and improve processes for better performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of senior-level experience in event management/tech (live events, experiential, or event tech).
- Strong track record in event activations and client-facing roles.
- Experience with tech-driven event solutions is an advantage.
- Proven leadership and ability to manage large projects and teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Business acumen with P&L management experience.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or related field.
- Knowledge of event software, hardware, or emerging tech tools.
- Experience in the UAE/GCC market.
