Dr Safeenas Wellness Clinic is seeking a dynamic Genetic Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team as the Coordinator of our Fertility Department. This unique role blends clinical expertise in genetics with strategic coordination of fertility services, making it ideal for candidates passionate about integrated, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide preconception and fertility-related genetic counseling to individuals/couples.
* Coordinate fertility services, working closely with gynecologists, endocrinologists, nutritionists, and therapists.
* Educate patients on hereditary conditions, genetic testing options, and risk assessments.
* Liaise with diagnostic labs, track test results, and support patients in decision-making.
* Support program development, marketing initiatives, and patient engagement strategies.
* Maintain thorough documentation and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling, Human Genetics, or equivalent.
* Certification from a recognized board
* Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical genetic counseling, preferably with fertility/genomics exposure is desirable
* Excellent communication, empathy, and coordination skills.
* Experience in IVF/ART, infertility genetics, or reproductive medicine is an advantage.
* Familiarity with functional and integrative medicine approaches is a plus.
