Role Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and visionary Head of Design to lead our international design
teams while also directly contributing to the creative process. This role requires a creative leader
with exceptional design skills who can both conceptualize and visualize ideas independently and
guide the team in bringing these concepts to life.
The ideal candidate will not only excel in creative direction but also possess the ability to teach,
mentor, and inspire team members to achieve design excellence. A strong background in corporate
and fintech industries, combined with expertise beyond standard design tools like Adobe, is
essential for success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Leadership and Execution
◦ Take a hands-on approach to design, creating high-quality visuals and prototypes to
communicate ideas effectively.
◦ Lead by example, demonstrating advanced design techniques and innovative
approaches to problem-solving.
◦ Ensure all design outputs are aligned with the brand’s vision and strategic objectives.
2. Team Development and Mentorship
◦ Teach and mentor team members, providing guidance on technical skills, creative
processes, and professional growth.
◦ Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture within the global
design team.
3. Brand Development and Consistency
◦ Oversee the creation and evolution of the brand’s visual identity, ensuring
consistency across all platforms and regions.
◦ Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, adapting them to meet
regional and cultural needs.
4. Creative Strategy and Vision
◦ Translate complex ideas into compelling visuals that resonate with diverse audiences
across global markets.
◦ Drive innovation by integrating cutting-edge design trends, tools, and technologies
into the team’s workflow.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
◦ Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure
design aligns with business goals.
◦ Work closely with regional teams to adapt designs for local markets while
maintaining global brand consistency.
6. Market Research and Insights
◦ Stay ahead of global design trends, tools, and technologies to keep the brand
competitive.
◦ Use consumer and market insights to inform creative decisions and ensure designs
are relevant and impactful.
7. Resource and Budget Management
◦ Oversee the global design department’s budget, ensuring resources are used
efficiently to maximize impact.
◦ Identify opportunities to enhance team capabilities through training, new tools, or
external collaborations.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related
field.
- 10+ years of professional design and branding experience, with at least 5 years in a
leadership role.
- Exceptional hands-on design skills with a robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in
branding, visual communication, and multi-platform campaigns.
- Proficiency in advanced design tools and technologies beyond Adobe Creative Suite,
such as Figma, Sketch, Cinema 4D, or equivalent.
- Strong ability to conceptualize and visualize ideas, turning abstract concepts into
compelling visual outputs.
- Proven experience teaching, mentoring, and managing designers at a global scale.
- Expertise in translating brand strategies into actionable design solutions tailored for different
cultural contexts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey creative ideas to non-design
stakeholders.
- Experience in the corporate or fintech sectors is strongly preferred.
- A passion for innovation and continuous learning in design trends and technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
