To lead and oversee the organisation's recruitment and talent acquisition strategies while working with the business to identify their long term talent needs. The job holder is responsible for developing and implementing effective talent acquisition plans, sourcing and attracting top-tier candidates, building a strong talent pipeline, design TA processes and ensure positive candidate experience.
To manage and deliver an effective resourcing strategy bank wide that ensures efficiency and optimal external and internal sourcing.
- To work closely with the business and develop & implement a business group specific talent acquisition strategy.
- To enhance business performance through appropriate advise and facilitation of integrated TA strategies and processes.
- Designing and driving the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience
- To anticipate, monitor and predict talent flow across the organisation and implement a resourcing strategy that ensures the business is adequately skilled to perform at desired levels.
- Trusted advisor to the senior management in providing objective feedback on decisions that impact hiring at senior and top management level and be directly responsible for top management across the bank including overseas.
- Managing end-to-end recruitment for senior roles
- To ensure people competencies are translated into an effective delivery of talent acquisition pipeline.
- To manage the people acquisition process through external and internal initiatives that build brand equity as an employer.
- To ensure that all vacancies are filled in time with the right caliber of people while ensuring an objective recruitment methodology is in place.
- To evaluate new and existing recruitment markets to ensure a constant flow of resource pipeline.
- To develop and implement selection tools and assessment centers that test the behavioural competencies that lead to organisational success.
- Establish and maintain competitor information relating to people & compensation within the market.
- To identify, negotiate and sign on external search firms and foster a business relationship with them, however responsible for keeping direct recruitments costs at optimum levels.
- Responsible for the positive candidate experience throughout the journey.
- Promote diversity in talent acquisition through sharing diverse profiles with the hiring candidates, both gender and nationality.
- Foster a close relationship with academic institutions (HCT, ZU, Al Ain University) and other Emiratisation entities to ensure a strong presence and supply of entry level Emirati resources.
- Support with the Graduate Development Programmes hiring.
- Design of specific PR initiatives that aim to build equity amongst the target population across all regions.
- Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
- Define and manage Mashreq outsourcing strategy and quantify its benefits.
- To strategise, identify and build internal buy in for moving jobs from various Groups to different locations to maximise the ROI on talent availability.
- To set up effective recruitment process and recruit competent staff in the TA division.
- To analyze trends and recommend HR initiatives based on recruitment and attrition trends through reports to senior management.
- Prepare and review our annual recruitment budget.
- Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication).
- Defining and driving the team to meet and exceed hiring benchmarks relating to time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring, and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.
- Defining and leading projects focused on continuous improvement
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging recruitment technologies, incorporating innovative approaches into our talent acquisition efforts.
- Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company.
- Measure key recruitment metrics, like source of hire and time-to-hire.
- Bachelor Degree in HR/business with at least 15-20 years relevant experience in HR.
- Excellent understanding of the local market labour law and HR practices.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, with a track record of success in leadership roles.
- Strong leadership skills, interpersonal ability and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR practices including recruitment, Talent management, strategic HRM and compensation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
