Job Title: Hostel Supervisor – Female Hostel
Office: Student Housing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assuring high level of hospitality and customer services in female hostel.
- Manage, follow up the office administrative work
- apply the daily operational workflow, defined by hostel policy and procedure
- Supervise the female hostel shifts to ensure smooth operations are applied as per hostels rules, regulations and standards.
- Serves the assigned hostel, ensuring hostel, following up all the services provided to the rooms ensuring welfare and safety of residing students and protection of University assets;
- Receives visitors, attends to reception office at the hostels, and ensures implementation of rules, regulations and disciplinary code of conduct in the hostels;
- Advises resident students on queries related to hostel life;
- Ensures maintenance requirements of the hostels are met by proper reporting and follow-up with relevant departments;
- Maintains relevant files & records;
- Assist in online student reservation operation, permission requested on daily basis.
- Assisting in arranging specific procedures for new students (room keys, turnstile card - social page)
- Coordinating with transportation regarding to (shuttles buses, airport trips, shopping trips, and etc.).
- Continuous follow up the daily clearance and release procedures via ORS.
- Disseminates information about deadlines and procedures to be followed by resident students;
- Encourages learning based activities and events among the residing students;
- Carry out other relevant assignments delegated by the senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma with at least 2 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Fluency in spoken and written English & Arabic languages;
- High level of customer service focus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Very good skills in using MS Office Suite;
- Excellent experience in using telephone and email protocols.
- Willing to work on shifts job nature;
- Working experience in dealing with youth is an advantage.
