We are in process of hiring HSE Engineer - Building with minimum of 5 - 6 years as a HSE Manager UAE experience (Al Dhafra International Projects Group Company - LLC) with bellow Key Responsibilities & qualifications:
1. Monitor site activities in the building section to ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards, and procedures.
2. Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification specific to building construction activities (e.g., scaffolding, formwork, concrete works).
3. Ensure that all workers and subcontractors follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
4. Prepare and maintain HSE documentation such as permits, inspection reports, and safety logs.
5. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training sessions for site personnel.
6. Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
7. Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and project management teams to integrate HSE into all building activities.
8. Participate in internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
9. Promote environmental sustainability practices related to waste management, material storage, and pollution prevention on site.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Civil, Mechanical, or Safety Engineering) or equivalent.
2. Certification in NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualifications. OR
3. Certification with local and international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
4. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles, specifically in building construction.
5. Good understanding of building construction methods and risks.
