Matcha Vibes Cafe is seeking a skilled Cold Kitchen Chef to join our team and work under the guidelines of the Dubai Food Code. Our cafe specializes in matcha-based drinks and a healthy food menu, emphasizing freshness and wellness. The ideal candidate will have experience working with natural, wholesome ingredients to create nutritious, flavorful dishes that complement our matcha offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of cold dishes, including salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and other health-conscious meals.
- Collaborate on developing a unique, health-focused menu that pairs with our matcha drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with Dubai Food Code regulations.
- Source and work with organic, fresh ingredients to create appealing and nourishing food items.
- Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
- Innovate and experiment with ingredients to elevate our offerings, always prioritizing nutritional value.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cold kitchen chef, ideally in a health-focused or cafe setting.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai Food Code regulations.
- Ability to work with fresh, organic ingredients and develop a menu centered on health and wellness.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing, nutritious dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
