Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking kitchen staff to join our team. The kitchen staff is responsible for supporting the overall operation of the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness, proper food preparation, and adherence to health and safety standards. This is a fast-paced environment that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen supervisors
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean and sanitized
- Load and unload dishwashers; hand wash larger items as needed
- Store food properly and monitor stock levels
- Dispose of waste according to health and safety regulations
- Help receive and organize deliveries
- Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen manager
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Exposure to hot surfaces, sharp objects, and commercial kitchen equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
