We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant with front desk responsibilities to join our team and provide essential support to our legal staff while acting as the welcoming face of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception Duties:
- Greet clients and visitors professionally and warmly
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and client appointments
- Maintain a neat and organized reception and meeting area
- Handle mail, couriers, and document intake
- Legal Assistant Duties:
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with document filing, both physical and electronic
- Support lawyers with coordinating, scheduling, file management, and deadlines
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates or document needs
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all legal records and interactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a similar legal support role
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and document formats
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and client-friendly demeanor
- Legal studies qualification or training is a plus
