Transportation & Shipping Coordination
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations including transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve transportation issues.
Inventory & Warehousing
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to meet operational needs.
- Oversee warehousing operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Procurement & Supply Chain Support
- Coordinate procurement activities with the purchasing department.
- Track orders and ensure procurement aligns with inventory demand.
- Support vendor and supplier relationship management.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving records, bills of lading, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding logistics and transportation.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Logistics Optimization
- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in logistics processes.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Utilize logistics software systems for tracking and reporting.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and transportation laws is a plus.
