We are seeking a talented D2C eStore Sales Manager (TV, Audio & Monitors) in our D2C and Corporate Marketing Team to drive and boost Samsung online Television, Soundbar & Monitors sales growth through Samsung.com across the UAE. Being part of the D2C Team puts you in a leading position at the centre of excellence, being responsible for maximizing customer experience, brand presence and sales growth across Samsung.com. The position requires an experienced eCommerce Sales Manager who is capable of driving direct-to-consumer eCommerce platforms. This individual will be responsible for driving the online sales performance of Samsung Tablets & Wearables across our D2C digital channels.
Role and Responsibilities
How You Will Make An Impact
- Develop strategy for new product launches in collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Advertising teams
- Build sustainable product and pricing strategies to drive full product portfolio across all categories
- Plan and manage promotional calendar and pricing strategy, to build and execute cross-divisional campaigns to maximize sell-out
- Track and manage sell-in, sell-out, WOS, OOS, ageing inventory, and provide necessary analysis and derive action plans to achieve targets
- Plan and implement cross- & upselling strategy in close alignment with key stakeholders across Content, Marketing, Sales, Product and D2C teams
- Track and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify gaps then set and deliver action plans with key stakeholders and follow through with execution recommendations to positively impact sales performance
- Collaborate closely with content team to optimize the customer journey and conversion rates and ensure brand guidelines and standards are met across the different channels
- Maintain up-to-date business, operations, and performance dashboards to provide in-depth visibility and understanding of the online channel’s current and future needs and translate them into sales opportunities
- Working closely with online, marketing and product teams to develop the D2C strategy for improving existing setups and launching new eCommerce programs and sell-out functionalities
- Manage Suwon and MENA Office counterparts and attain and deliver best practices improving local execution and strategy
- Drive actionable insights (through web analytics and competitive landscape benchmarking) to improve user experience and platform capabilities
- Manage eCommerce KPIs for traffic, sales, acquisition and customer interaction
Skills and Qualifications
What You’ll Need
- 8-11 years of eCommerce Sales experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 5 with a Master’s degree
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and technology
- Strong sales acumen and experience managing direct-to-consumer platforms (eStore & Mobile app)
- Demand planning experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and technical skills
- Proficiency in building clear and concise presentations to be used with C-Level management
- Must be system oriented as well as computer literate and advanced user of MS-Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
