Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems as per project specifications.
- Convert engineering sketches and verbal instructions into precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
- Modify and revise drawings based on engineer redlines, RFIs, and site changes.
- Maintain drawing documentation, revision logs, and version control in accordance with project standards.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC), and company drafting practices.
- Generate detailed layout plans, sections, schematic diagrams, and coordination drawings for electro-mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with site and design engineers to resolve technical issues and incorporate changes swiftly.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTOs) and bills of quantities (BOQs) from approved drawings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechanical (Diploma / Engineer) or related technical field.
- Mandatory 2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the MEP or Electro-Mechanical industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, or BIM is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting system layouts and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
