Job Title: Medical Coder – Home Care Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder with prior experience in Home Care services to join our team in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and assigning accurate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services to ensure compliance with insurance regulations and to facilitate timely billing and reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient records and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for all services provided in a home care setting.
- Ensure coding practices are compliant with DOH (Department of Health - Abu Dhabi) guidelines.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff to clarify diagnoses and documentation.
- Monitor coding and billing processes for errors or discrepancies and provide timely resolution.
- Ensure timely submission of claims to insurance providers and follow up on denials or rejections.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and secure health information as per UAE data protection laws.
- Prepare coding reports and assist in audits and internal reviews.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines, insurance requirements, and industry changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related field (preferred).
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent coding certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in home care services.
- Knowledge of DOH regulations, claim submission platforms, and insurance billing processes.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and medical billing software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadline
