Job Title: MEP Draftsman / Electrical Engineer
Location: United Arab Emirates
Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years (UAE Experience Mandatory)
Driving License: UAE Driving License Preferred (an advantage)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman / Electrical Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in MEP drafting, especially in electrical systems, and a sound understanding of local regulations and standards. A valid UAE driving license will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare MEP drawings (shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings) using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Design and review electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, civil) to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, and other local authority requirements.
- Conduct site visits for inspection, coordination, and implementation support.
- Support the project team in resolving design and technical issues.
- Prepare load schedules, single-line diagrams, and other electrical documentation.
- Review and revise drawings as per project and site requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant UAE experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design tools.
- Knowledge of UAE electrical codes and MEP standards.
- Strong understanding of DEWA and other regulatory authority procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
