Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dubai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates for high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning during pre-construction phases.
- Monitor project budgets and provide cost advice to stakeholders.
- Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities) and tender documents for MEP subcontractors.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist in contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices.
- Administer MEP contracts, including variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
- Assess and validate change orders and additional works.
- Liaise with MEP consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve cost-related issues.
- Track project expenditures and provide monthly cost reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
- Conduct risk analysis and advise on financial implications.
- Prepare and negotiate final accounts with contractors and suppliers.
- Assist in resolving commercial disputes related to MEP works.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum [7] years of experience as an MEP QS in high-rise buildings (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Planswift) and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, JCT, or NEC contracts.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
