We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Metals Derivatives Trader to join our growing team in Dubai. This role offers a unique opportunity to establish and lead a new trading desk focused on ferrous and precious metals, with strong support and upside based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute and manage derivatives trading strategies in ferrous and precious metals markets.
Develop and implement systematic trading models.
Monitor market trends, risk factors, and macroeconomic indicators to identify trading opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and exchanges.
Take full ownership of P&L and performance of the metals trading desk.
Collaborate with operations, risk, and finance teams to ensure smooth trade execution and reporting.
Requirements:
1–3 years of trading experience, preferably in metals or commodities derivatives.
Strong understanding of systematic trading approaches and risk management principles.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and build a desk from the ground up.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
