MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To support the UAE Cargo Commercial function by handling administrative, reporting, and system-related activities that enable the sales team to focus on customer engagement. this includes maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring seamless coordination when sales staff are out meeting customers or handling market-facing responsibilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates the end-to-end quote management process, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-documented responses to agent and customer rate requests.
- Prepares and circulates reports related to quotation success, agent performance, route trends, and overall UAE sales metrics.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency of sales-related data across systems such as SkyChain, CRM, and internal Excel trackers.
- Provides administrative and back-office support to the sales team, including data entry, document tracking, and internal coordination.
- Organizes and archives UAE sales documents, including rate approvals, commercial agreements, and customer correspondences.
- Acts as a central point of coordination during periods when sales staff are out of office, ensuring continuity in administrative and follow-up tasks.
- Coordinates with pricing and capacity management teams to monitor space allocation for key accounts and ensure timely communication of available capacity to sales staff.
- Assists in analyzing customer buying patterns, agent contribution, and market trends to identify opportunities for upselling or capacity optimization within the UAE market.
- Supports the development and execution of targeted sales initiatives or campaigns by preparing customer lists, tracking responses, and coordinating follow-up actions with the sales team.
- Monitors competitor activities in the UAE market and shares insights with the sales and pricing teams to support strategic decision-making and proactive customer engagement.
- Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis would be an advantage
- Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
- 2 years in Cargo sales/coordinator would be an advantage
- SkyChain, Excel and BI tool would be an advantage
