Position: Operations Manager / Head of Operations

Job Summary:
Our client, a global leader in engineering consultancy and architectural planning, is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager / Head of Operations to oversee the entire business operations in Abu Dhabi. This leadership role is pivotal in driving strategic alignment, managing core functions, and ensuring overall operational excellence.
The successful candidate will act as the Management’s Representative, overseeing cross-functional teams, with a strong focus on HR, commercial activities, business development, and bidding strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all company operations in Abu Dhabi.
- Act as the Management’s Representative and ensure seamless coordination across all departments.
- Manage and guide the HR team, oversee recruitment, resource planning, and talent development in consultation with senior leadership.
- Lead the commercial, bidding, and business development functions, ensuring sustainable business growth.
- Supervise daily operations and support project delivery for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Take charge of company-wide performance, reporting, and compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to align operational execution with strategic goals.
- Represent the company in client meetings, particularly with government and high-profile clients.
- Ensure adherence to contract terms, quality standards, and timely project execution.
- Identify process gaps and introduce improvements for higher efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and operational KPIs.
- Lead by example in decision-making, team development, and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the engineering consultancy or architectural planning industry, including senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams across HR, Commercial, BD, and Technical divisions.
- Strong understanding of UAE government clients, particularly in Abu Dhabi.
- Solid commercial acumen with strong expertise in bidding and business development.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive operational efficiency while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED35,000.00 per month
