The Operations Supervisor – Dispatch & Fleet Coordination is responsible for managing the daily logistics of vehicle deliveries and pickups, overseeing driver dispatch, and coordinating with the internal team to ensure efficient fleet operations. This role ensures vehicles are delivered and retrieved on schedule while maintaining service quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers for timely vehicle deliveries and pickups.
- Track and monitor driver movements using dispatch tools or GPS tracking systems.
- Adjust daily dispatch plans based on vehicle availability, customer requests, and last-minute changes.
- Coordinate closely with the rental counter staff, vehicle service agents, and mechanics to ensure fleet readiness.
- Communicate daily plans and priorities clearly to all operational team members.
- Serve as the main point of contact for drivers regarding routing, assignments, and scheduling.
- Monitor vehicle locations and availability to meet delivery schedules and optimize fleet usage.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate maintenance and service appointments to minimize downtime.
