Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Chef with a background in 5-star hotel kitchens to prepare daily meals and cater to high culinary standards in a private household. The ideal candidate will be passionate about gourmet cooking, hygiene, and menu customization based on dietary needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) with attention to taste, nutrition, and presentation.
- Design weekly meal plans, incorporating variety, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients.
- Maintain an immaculate kitchen, ensuring top hygiene standards and food safety.
- Source fresh ingredients; manage pantry, inventory, and grocery purchases.
- Prepare for private events or family gatherings as needed.
- Offer international cuisines, with strong skills in Indian, Continental, and other global cuisines.
- Accommodate special dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, keto, vegan).
- Clean up after meals and ensure the kitchen is tidy and sanitized at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a 5-star hotel or fine-dining kitchen.
- Culinary certification or diploma from a reputed institute (preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of nutrition, food safety, and kitchen hygiene.
- Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of household privacy.
- Flexibility in working hours and availability on weekends/special occasions.
- Spoken English proficiency; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
