Job Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and experienced Procurement Manager with in-depth knowledge of building materials to oversee and manage our sourcing, supplier relationships, inventory control, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, market intelligence, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for building materials including but not limited to cement, steel, timber, electrical, plumbing, and finishing items.
- Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate terms, and build long-term strategic relationships.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent overstock or shortage through accurate forecasting and coordination with the warehouse and operations teams.
- Manage RFQs, LPOs, contracts, and documentation in compliance with internal controls and quality standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials by coordinating with vendors and the logistics/transportation team.
- Monitor market trends, pricing shifts, and new products; provide insights and cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly in terms of price, quality, delivery, and service.
- Lead a team of procurement officers and coordinate with the finance and project departments to align procurement with business goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA or relevant certifications (CIPS/CSCP) are a plus.
- Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience in the building materials or construction industry.
- Proven experience working with local and international suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of market dynamics, material specifications, and vendor landscape in the GCC.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred:
- UAE/GCC driving license.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs regulations.
- Exposure to sustainability practices and green procurement initiatives.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
