Key Responsibilities
- Cost Analysis:Analyze project documents, blueprints, and plans to identify all necessary components and associated costs.
- Research & Quotes:Contact vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotes for materials, labor, and services.
- Budget Creation:Develop detailed cost estimates, bids, and final budgets for projects, ensuring they are comprehensive and accurate.
- Risk Assessment:Identify and factor in potential risks, such as material price fluctuations, weather delays, and labor issues, into the cost forecast.
- Reporting & Presentation:Compile and present detailed cost reports, bids, and analyses to project managers, clients, and senior management.
- Collaboration:Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and specifications.
- Tracking & Monitoring:Monitor project progress and actual costs, comparing them against the initial estimates and making adjustments as needed.
