Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager – Storage Tanks to manage and coordinate the execution of storage tank projects from planning phase to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project planning, fabrication, erection, and commissioning of vertical and horizontal storage tanks in compliance with industry standards such as API 650
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage project activities related to the fabrication and erection of storage tanks.
- Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and client requirements.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, QA/QC, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance against milestones, schedules, and budgets.
- Supervise site activities including plate cutting, rolling, welding, NDT, hydro testing, and painting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
- Prepare project documentation including method statements, inspection test plans, and daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and promote a culture of safety at all project sites.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures in a timely manner.
- Support final project handover including as-built documentation and commissioning reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in storage tank projects, preferably in oil & gas or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of international codes and standards such as API 650.
- Proficient in project planning tools and CAD software.
- Hands-on experience in tank fabrication, welding processes, and site supervision.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and travel to project sites as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED15,000.00 per month
